Venue

Flanders Expo, Hall 8

Dates

27–28 January 2027

Exhibitors

~100 exhibitors from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Austria, Slovenia and Israel (organiser's own figures)

Visitors

"Several thousand" professional visitors, mostly Belgian and Dutch — 13% from the Netherlands in the prior edition — across a 10,000m² floor

Stand sizes

No official stand-size or per-m² pricing is published — the fair is intentionally kept compact ('quality over quantity' is the organiser's own stated positioning) at ~100 exhibitors on 10,000m², so expect smaller average footprints than a broad-audience Belgian fair like Batibouw

Sector

Solar energy, battery storage & smart energy management

Before you book

What you actually need to know about InterSolution.

InterSolution is Belgium's specialist trade fair for solar energy, battery storage and smart energy management, run annually since 2009 in Hall 8 of Flanders Expo — a compact, curated floor rather than a mass-market show, aimed at installers, electricians, roofers, architects and distributors rather than end consumers.

Traffic & timing

The first day runs into the evening (9:30–20:00) while the second closes at a normal 18:00 — plan for two different rhythms on the floor rather than treating both days the same, and expect an after-work crowd on day one skewed toward installers and tradespeople fitting a visit around their working day.

Key deadlines

Plan backwards from move-in.

Move-in window

Stand construction runs Monday 25 January (07:00–22:00) and Tuesday 26 January (07:00–17:00) — a compact two-day build window, tighter than Belgium's larger fairs, so lock in your build schedule and contractor early.

Teardown can't start early

Dismantling isn't allowed to begin before 19:30 on the Thursday closing day (28 January), with a Friday 07:00–17:00 window to finish — don't plan transport for immediately after doors close.

Stand pricing and sizing

InterSolution doesn't publish stand pricing or minimum sizes online — get exact figures directly from organiser DELFICO before committing to a design brief, since they aren't listed on the exhibitor registration page.

Watch-outs

Flanders Expo, Hall 8, not a generic hall.

Evening hours on day one change the staffing plan

With the fair open until 20:00 on Wednesday but only 18:00 on Thursday, a stand crew scheduled identically both days either burns out early or leaves the evening slot under-staffed.

You can't strike the stand the moment doors close

Teardown is blocked until 19:30 on the final day — turning up with transport booked for 18:15 means standing around, not loading.

A curated floor rewards specificity, not size

At ~100 exhibitors on 10,000m², a stand competing on scale the way it might at Batibouw reads as out of place — the organiser's own 'quality over quantity' positioning means differentiated, technical messaging outperforms a bigger footprint here.

Multilingual signage may matter more than expected

Exhibitors already travel from as far as Slovenia and Israel, and 13% of visitors come from the Netherlands — don't default your graphics to French/Dutch only without English as a backup.

[PLACEHOLDER] Solvexa Energy Systems

A compact 24m² stand built for InterSolution's two-rhythm show days

Solvexa needed a stand crew present for an unusually long Wednesday (until 20:00) without over-staffing Thursday's shorter day. We built a stand with a fold-away demo counter so the same footprint worked for both a late installer crowd and a quieter Thursday afternoon.

One stand design, two different daily rhythms, no rebuild between days.

InterSolution 2027

About 100 exhibitors on a 10,000m² floor for several thousand visitors — the organiser calls this 'quality over quantity' on purpose, so a stand here competes on specificity, not on outshouting a crowd of thousands of neighbours.

Frequently asked

InterSolution, answered.

Should we staff the stand the same way both days?

No — Wednesday runs until 20:00, Thursday closes at 18:00, so plan for a longer, later crew shift on day one rather than identical staffing across both days.

Can we start breaking down the stand as soon as the fair closes on Thursday?

No — dismantling isn't permitted before 19:30 on the Thursday, so don't book transport for straight after the doors close.

Is a big, showy stand worth it here?

Usually not as much as at a larger Belgian fair — with only ~100 exhibitors on a curated floor, specific and technical messaging tends to outperform sheer size.

Exhibiting elsewhere too?
