Exhibitors
~60 exhibitors (2025 edition)

No published stand-size grid — exhibitor scale (~60 exhibitors) points to a compact, specialist floor rather than large custom-build territory
Sector
Measurement & control technology / process automation
Before you book
What you actually need to know about M+R.
Belgium's leading trade fair for process automation — measurement and control technology for electrical and instrumentation engineers across petrochemicals, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, food & drinks, and energy/water treatment. Biennial, and co-located with Maintenance and Worksafe under a shared badge.
Traffic & timing
At roughly 2,374 visitors across three co-located shows and just ~60 M+R exhibitors specifically, this is a dense, specialist floor — most visitors are technical buyers already invested in the topic rather than casual walk-ins.
Key deadlines
Plan backwards from move-in.
Biennial format — confirm before assuming this year's specifics
M+R runs every two years — reused stand plans and figures from the last edition should be re-checked with the organiser rather than assumed to still apply.
Confirm your position relative to Maintenance and Worksafe
M+R shares its hall and badge with two other shows — confirm your stand's position relative to them before finalising a design aimed only at process-automation visitors.
Prepare technical documentation, not just visuals
With engineers and technical buyers as the core audience, budget time for spec sheets and technical handouts alongside stand graphics — this crowd reads documentation, not just signage.
Watch-outs
Antwerp Expo, not a generic hall.
Biennial means plans go stale fast
With two years between editions, exhibitors often reuse a stand design without re-checking whether hall assignment, dimensions or attendance patterns changed since the last edition — confirm current specifics rather than reusing an old plan.
Small, dense, specialist floor
At ~60 exhibitors, this isn't a large fair — a generic stand can get lost less through crowding and more through simply not standing out among a small number of equally specialist competitors.
Shares its hall and badge with Maintenance and Worksafe
Visitors are moving between three related-but-distinct exhibitor pools under one ticket — signage specific to measurement/control technology matters more here than at a single-theme fair.
No published venue-wide technical manual
We didn't find a public exhibitor/technical manual for Antwerp Expo as a whole — request build regulations directly from the organiser before designing a stand.

[PLACEHOLDER] Veldkamp Process Instruments
A specialist stand built to stand out in a small, dense hall
Veldkamp needed to stand out among a small number of equally technical competitors at M+R, where crowding isn't the problem — sameness is. We built a stand around one working instrumentation demo instead of a wall of spec sheets, giving technical visitors a reason to stop rather than scan past.
Live demo drew sustained visitor time on a floor where most stands saw brief, scanning visits.

Frequently asked
M+R, answered.
Is M+R an annual event?
No — it's biennial. Confirm current dates, hall assignment and attendance expectations with the organiser rather than reusing a plan from the last edition.
Do we need to design for process-automation visitors only?
Not exclusively — M+R shares its hall and visitor badge with Maintenance and Worksafe, so a meaningful share of footfall comes from those adjacent shows too.
How big is this show compared to others at Antwerp Expo?
Smaller — around 60 exhibitors and 2,374 visitors at the most recent edition, across all three co-located shows. It's a dense, specialist floor rather than a large one.
Exhibiting elsewhere too?
